Tell us what the car's doing

Call, email, or book an intake slot online. Whichever one gets you an answer fastest.

Got a bigger question than an email will hold — which direction to take a build, whether a car is worth buying, what the whole thing costs? Book a thirty-minute phone consultation for $50 and get it answered properly.

Reach the shop

The booking form gets the quickest answer. It captures the year, engine and symptoms up front, so the first thing you hear back from a shop with 25+ years on these cars is a real assessment instead of twenty questions. If you want to see the work before you call, Aaron posts it as it comes off the bench. Same handle, @oldslegend, on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook.

Before you call

Do you only work on Oldsmobiles?

No. The name is about the old school, not the badge. GM A and G bodies, box Chevys, Fords, Mopars, pre-war iron. If it's a classic and it needs brake, suspension, steering, mechanical, body, electrical or paint work, bring it in.

What will my restoration cost?

Nobody can answer that over the phone, and a shop that gives you a number sight-unseen is guessing with your money. What we can do is a paid inspection and teardown assessment, then hand you a written, phased estimate so you decide what happens now and what waits until next year. A bolt-on job like a disc conversion or a set of coilovers is a much shorter conversation. Call or send photos and we'll tell you what we need to see.

Can I pay over time?

Yes. Klarna and Afterpay split the total into four interest-free payments two weeks apart, and Affirm spreads it over twelve monthly payments at 0% APR, alongside cards and digital wallets. Larger builds are billed by phase as work completes, so you're never paying ahead for work that hasn't happened.

Do you buy or sell classic cars?

We don't run a lot. We do pre-purchase inspections, and it's the cheapest money you'll ever spend on a car you don't own yet. Fresh paint hides filler, rot and a tweaked frame. Better we find it than you find it in year two.

Do you do paint work?

Yes, at $75 an hour. Trim and accessory painting mostly, personalized or customized to set your vehicle apart. Worth being straight with you: the paint side of the shop is still being set up, so call before you plan a date around it and we'll tell you honestly whether we can turn it around now. We can get the job done. Most of what this shop does day to day is preservation work, which is brakes, suspension, steering and the upgrades that go with them.

Do you collect the car, or do I bring it in?

You bring it to us, at 5146 E 65th Street in Indianapolis, and it goes on the lift the day you drop it off rather than sitting in a yard until it reaches the front of a line. Most services are same day to 48 hours from there, depending on the scope of the work. If the car doesn't run, arrange a trailer for the slot you booked. Owners ship cars in from outside central Indiana for full restorations regularly, so call and we'll talk transport through before you commit to anything.

Tell us what you're driving. We'll tell you what it needs.
