Credit is issued the moment a referred job is marked complete and paid. You get an email when it lands, so nobody has to keep score.
The fine print, in plain English
Is there a cap on how many people I can refer?
No cap on referrals and no cap on credit. Send ten people, earn $500. One rule only: each person has to be new to the shop, so somebody we already service doesn't count.
When does the credit actually show up?
When your friend's job is complete and paid in full, not when they book it. Bookings get cancelled and work gets deferred, so payment is the point where it becomes real. You'll get an email the moment it's issued.
Can I spend credit on parts as well as labor?
Parts, labor. Anything the shop invoices. Credit doesn't expire and doesn't convert to cash.
Does the person I send get a discount too?
No, and we'd rather say so than let you promise one. This program pays the person doing the referring. Your friend pays what anybody else pays, and $50 goes to you once their job is completed.
